Biblical Counseling

Are you struggling? Do you need help?

Suffering and troubles are a natural part of the human life. While sermons, books and small groups can be helpful during challenging times, there are seasons when we need to talk with somebody one-on-one who can shed light into our darkness. Biblical Counseling is one way we can help.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to first minister the gospel message to people by pointing them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives. Second, we aim to guide them in using the Scriptures and other Biblical resources to meet their emotional, mental, spiritual, relational, and practical needs.

What is Biblical Counseling?

Biblical Counseling believes and confirms that God created human life and His Word is sufficient to instruct people on how to live this human life well. God has provided us with His Word to guide us on how to work out our salvation to his glory and our good. We believe that God’s Word is complete and capable of addressing all of  our struggles and problems in this world.

What Kind of Counseling is Offered?

Counseling is available to help with any problems you may be facing—marriage, parenting, addictions, fear, anger, grief, anxiety, stress, depression, life purpose, etc. We also offer Pre-Marital counseling.

What is the Cost?

There is no charge for counseling; however, a recommended donation of $40 per session is recommended. All donations are to be designated to the Biblical Counseling Ministry. (Insurance is not accepted.)

Who Can Come for Counseling?

Redeemer Bible Church members or attendees are welcome. These include kids (over 5 years old), teens, adults, and couples.

What will your counselor expect from you?

Your counselor will expect at least three things from you:

First, you must be willing to grow and change.

Second, you must attend counseling sessions regularly unless providentially hindered.

Third, you must complete homework assignments between counseling sessions to implement and ensure lasting change.

Please fill out the following two documents before your first counseling visit and bring with you.
